what mods did the gt have.  if it was a stock gt then what would you all expect.  if the gt500 only ran a low 12 then thats not impressive either

          Me         GT500
-------------------------
RT      .117       .480
60'    2.152       2.161
1/8   9.042       8.260
1/4   13.90       12.37
MPH  103.1       121.5

You can see my 60 suffers.  I need reloc brakets and better rubber.

The camera mount is a cruise cam (google them).  The track told us that the inside (left lane) car needs to turn onto the return lane first, thus the reason he was waiting.  It was a private track rental and they were pretty lax about helmets and passengers for cars running ~14 or slower.  I don't know what mods he had, there were a lot of Mustangs there, hard to get around and talk with everyone.  It would have been smart to both have a helmet on...good advice.  Once we started running a little faster we split up and alternated solo runs using my helmet.

What was your best time of the night and your 1/8 mile trap speeds?  I went to the track fri night and I ran 8.90's with the same 60' ft times as you and my car only has a C&L intake and Brenspeed tune.

You mean a better 60 foot time.  Reaction time doesn't effect ET.

+1
unless you're John or Ashley Force it don't matter and even for them it only effects their paycheck. That passenger is weight, if it were me instead of talking to him I'd be imagining an anvil sitting next to me...

12.37 @ 121 YIKES. I thoughts I couldn't drive! My best in the C5 is 12.20 @ 117. Can't wait to get the S197 out to the track and see how it does. I think I'll let my girl drive the Vette and see if I can take her!

The strip is located in Beaver Springs Pennsylvania on PA 235, half way between Selinsgrove and Lewistown.  http://www.beaversprings.com.  About 1.5 hrs north of Harrisburg.

My best run of the evening, sans passenger, was 13.74 @105.6.  with a 8.99 @ 82 1/8 mile.  Note that I am a complete noob at Drag racing, first time ever.  Its a blast and I'll probably try it again this summer.  AutoX is my first choice but I'm enjoying the heck out of the car at every go fast event I can.  Next up is an HPDE at Pocono.  Who knows after that...maybe a Drift event, LOL!  Did someone say these cars are fun?
