well the SS guy can drive he's got a 1000+ HP TT Ford GT as well. The SS also had a bit more passenger weight than the Z06. The Z ran a 11.2 at 127 or so in the 1/4 - so IMO from a roll it would have the advantage.
The Z I ran was a 570 rwhp beast LOL - I had no chance!

UPDATE ON THE Z06 vs SuperSnake
- the SS had a pulley swap and made 730 rwhp
- the Z06 now has intake and tune and made 508
they ran again this morning... the SS by a 1/4 car this time....

Yes. The true CAI will yield a little more hp when the car is moving, but not on a dyno.
I've never seen a CAI/tune car make over 500. Mine made 49X on a dyno that reads high on RWD cars, so I tell people I make 475ish, just like every other CAI/tuned Z06.

There were two ported throttle body /intake Z06s on digitalcorvettes.com that dynoed 501 and 499 hp
