stupid question about a charging issue - 5/10/2008 9:54:35 PM    91blackmustanggt   Posts: 71 Joined: 6/8/2006 Status: offline I recently upgraded to a 200amp 3g alternator with the 4 gauge wire and fuse running from the alternator to the battery. It has worked great up until this weekend. I have a small crank pulley installed and it was charging great with idle set at 750rpms but now its acting like the old 2g again. I washed the engine bay with the alternator covered before it started acting up but I think the fuse got wet and possibly blew. Would it act like a 2g if the fuse was blown?   _____________________________ Post #: 1
