A couple of weeks ago I raced a late model Charger with a 5.7L (340 hp, 380 tq?). At 60 mph, I was slowly pulling away when the Charger gave up. I have an automatic convertible with 3.31 rear end. My wife and two 70 lb. kids were also in the car.

08 Bullitt 2310 05-11-2008, 12:14 PM Damn,It's getting rough up in here,Rightfully so I guess considering the passengers on board.Stock S197 shouldn't have much trouble beating a stock Charger R/T though.Lose the additional passengers though. We realize you posted that as far as additional weight was concerned but that is not a good thing considering how a STREET RACE can go wrong in so many ways.
buster 05-11-2008, 01:54 PM street racing is very smart
cacimar 05-11-2008, 02:14 PM c'mon guys give him the benefit of the doubt, To the OP u should not race with ur kids in the car man something goes wrong and u will kill the whole family. Either way u should kill a charger R/T with ease from a dig and it ll closer from a roll.
bluebeastsrt 05-11-2008, 05:22 PM You should have opened the doors and pitched both kids out. They probably wouldn't get hurt to much and you really could have pulled the charger. Hell pitch the wife out of the moving car just for fun.[8D]

Subotai_95 05-12-2008, 06:55 AM LOL.. "Dude joey that was universally stupid mannnn... " Beastie, you just aint right in the head sometimes.. hehe... Funny as hell though.. lol :D
Not to be a dick, but they're right OP.. as stupid as I've ever been I would never race somebody with my wife and kids in the car brudda.. Not only would it make you feel like sh!t if something went wrong and they got hurt, but you'd be liable for wreckless endangerment and/or vehicular manslaughter.. Not exactly something I'd want to chance just to shine somebody on broham..
