Default bad cd error? 6 disk changer insanity

So for a few months now my Mach stereo with the 6 disk changer was being weird ejecting cds. They would get stuck and I would have to help remove them sometimes. As of last week every single cd that I put in any of the 6 slots will not play immediately. If I turn the stereo off and then back on it will play approximately 1 and a half songs then just stop. Then the screen stays where it is is for a few seconds, then says bad cd and spits it out. But it has done it with over 20 cds so I know the cds aren't bad.
Any suggestions? Does the laser need to be cleaned? Does the stereo need to be replaced? I have no clue what's going on but I miss my cd player. Please help.

it has to do with the alignment of the changer mechanism. You can take it out, take it apart and fix it. Be sure to take good notes as you will be in there agian when it breaks. Unfortunatly ford has never been able to master a reliable cd player loading mechanism and they are simply not worth fixing. I know you like the indash changer fut they have never worked right, and will not work right. You can switch out the deck and it is not as hard as everyone has probably told you and you will not have to replace it later.
