i just bought a duralast gold yesterday and the car was fine, stoped and started several times. today i drive about 20min from home to eat and when i get back to the car it wont start, so i jumped it and it started. my question is are batterys not fully charged when you buy them?

If the things AdderMk2 and mjr46 don't correct the problem, you may also want to check for an electrical draw caused by a short. If you don't know what I am talking about or how to check and troubleshoot this kind of problem, you may want to take it someone who knows electrical systems.

Do you have underdrive pulleys on? might want to try with the stock ones.

you say that it is able to start when jumped. I had run into an issue before with an older car. If I hooked up my jump pack, it would start.... without even turning the jump pack on.

lol, i had this happen on my old truck, i was FAR to lazy to fix it, so id pour water or spit on it, whitch would last for like 2 days each time i spit on it.
after about 2-3weeks, i ended up finally changing it.
had to cut the wire, and then the one i bought claped onto the wire. took like 10min.....

If you don't have the crimper for this size of terminal you can solder the connection with a torch and good amount of solder.
