Lifted the stang and bolted it on today.
Once I figured out because my car is a vert I already had a K-Member brace it was rather simple.
Took the old one off , put the new one on.  The space is a bit tight but not too bad.
On to the torque limiters, for those of you that dont know what they are they bolt to the K-member brace and then to the bell housing thus helping the motor mounts control torque off the engine and tranny making it easier to shift gears under a full load.
Well getting them in place is not so hard, getting the threads lined up  is a bit tricky because the limiter is made up of 3 parts and the top piece that bolts to the motor is reverse threaded to tighten the whole unit once its attached. Now tightening the motor bolts is silly, there is like 4 inches between the cats and the bell housing so it takes a million cranks on your ratchet to get it tight. I should have borrowed an impact but I didnt think Id needed  it. I got it all sorta tight but its tricky because you have to tighten it all at the same time so you have a top piece a middle piece and a bottom piece but only two hands. Anyhow, once I was happy and it was all solid I let the car down , gave it a wash , dropped the top and drove home. Cornering was the same, but shifting was WAY better. Under regular driving shifts up and down felt way smoother. Shifting hard under 3/4 throttle was even better and the dreaded 2nd to 3rd under WOT was easier. I blew one shift but that was my fault.

The reason I got this is my X-charger ships on Wed and I thought the car needed it with a blower ( it was hard enough to shift from 2 to 3 as it is) .

Might not be the sexiest mod on earth but its worth every penny. One stink i had about this car was the shifting was crap, the Hurst shifter made it more solid but this made it usable and way smoother.

What did those cost? I may look into to that after I get the seepage leak from my tranny fixed next month.

Does it transfer alot of vibration and noise into the cabin?  I put the K-Member brace in but didn't get the Torque Arms.  I thought it would make the car feel like it had solid motor mounts.  It's my DD and need some comfort.

No it doesn't.  It actually reduced the rattle from the exhaust as the drivetrain shakes less.  Without it, shifting into 3rd gear at WOT was almost impossible.  I found no down sides to it at all.

For me it did.  I picked up a couple of bad rattles that weren't there before.  After about 2 weeks of trying to tweak and correct rattles I gave up and removed the torque limiters.  I did like the "feel" of everthing nice and tight with them installed, but I log 120 miles a day and it was not worth the trade off in increased NVH.

    1. noise. The noise got worse after the weekend of driving. So today I lifted it and what do you know, a loose nut. Locktite,,, fixed.
    2. noise 2. The hurst was noisy by itself and my vert is noisy anyhow. Dynamated the crap out of the big space under the shift boot and was way better  on the way home.
