The original owner of my car was named Raymond Parks and I got it from Cobb county georgia where the Nascar legend raymond parks lives. I have never been able to contact him to ask if he is the original owner.

Do any of y'all know anyone that knows somebody that knows him?

good luck finding out if raymond is the original owner. thatd be so cool to have a race car driver be the PO of your car.

Can't help you with the finding of the original owner. However, that is one BEAUTIFUL mustang I really like it. I've always liked the white/cream with the vinyl top and have never seen that on a 65/66 model. the 65/66's never intrigued me too much but yours is just great looking. Congrats on it!

Nice car....But what I see is a special edition plaque, may not be the original owner. Up here we can get a car registration list that tells us who the past owners were from the DMV. I would look into that.

I read a book aboyut Raymond Parks not long ago.He really was the Godfather of Nascar.Also He was one of the biggest and most successful moonshiners of the era.In the book it mentions he owns the majority of the legal liquer stores in that area of Georgia.He was in his mid 90's at the time the book was written which was two or three years ago.The name of the Book is " Driving With The Devil" by Neal Thompson,It s a good read for anyone interested in the early days of stock car racing.

Now two ways I can think of to find him are lookinng into the liquer store owners in that area of georgia,or maybe contacting Neal Thompson,who eveidentally knows raymond very well.

That would be super cool if Raymond was the PO of your car ,and even cooler if Red Voght worked on it.He was the first guy to really "work" some horsepower out of the old fords
