if you have the money then def get the Porter Cable kit. i bought the PC with pads from justin a couple months ago and i love it. by far one of the best purchases i have made for my car. i didnt get the kit with the polishes because i bought some polishes and stuff from him a while back. but im sure that the kits with the polishes are very good. i have been very happy with everything that i have purchased from him. but since you already have the clay bar, just need a good wash soap. polish, glaze, then wax/sealant and you will be good to go. and dont forget to get microfibers, the more the better. and i just looked at his kits, and they just have the pc, pads, and polishes, so you will still need to grab a glaze and a wax/sealant. i have heard alot of people say that they like his wet wax, and the OD wet glaze combo on red cars, so you might want to check that out. im sure that whatever you order, you will be happy with it....and you wont have to worry about it getting there by saturday, he has some of the fastest shipping i have ever seen, ususally gets products out the same day and they are to your door in about 3.

Also a quick question while I'm at it... what about detailing a car outdoors, any problems with that? Our garage sucks and have no room for mine!

im pretty sure most of his products are safe to use in the sun and heat so you shouldnt have any problems with that.

I would start with the Porter Cable Optimum kit. Optimum polishes will work great for taking out swirls and scratches, bringing out more shine and reflection, and prepping the paint for the next steps. After you polish I would add my Wet Glaze into the mix, this will add a lot of depth and wetness plus add a lot of slickness to the paint. After the glaze you are ready for the wax. I would go with either my Wet Wax or my Wet Obsession paste wax. The Wet Obsession is my high end carnauba wax, this has been a pretty big hit so far, the depth and wetness it gives is awesome plus it goes on and off like butter. Don't forget to get some high quality microfiber towels. The Ultra Premium and Super Fly are my biggest sellers and are both very soft and thick towels. For drying you can't go wrong with my Amazing Dryer or the Monster Waffle Weave towel. Let me know if you have anymore questions! Justin

Thanks! I'll have to see. I'm a hair short on cash right now. This cruise will cost a good amount! If I were to get this stuff... is there enough to use more than one time? So like say I wanted to do it all over again a month later would there be enough? It would cost me about $200 to get it professionally detailed here, I've been to this place before and they do great work, but I figured I could spend roughly $200 on some products and do it myself AND have some more use out of the same products later down the road without spending ALOT more like I would at the detailing shop.

Don't worry about doing anything outside (assuming it's not in the middle of a rainfall or tornado with trees blowing around or anything), Our garage isn't big enough for a car so mine sits outside every day as well, I do all my cleaning work outside too. Once you get it done the first time, all it takes is a bit of quick detailer to hit the problem spots and keep it nice and shiny.
