i had the guy stagger them about 2". not sure if it helped, but it sure couldn't hurt

and you're right, with this combo, we have a boomtube/midmuffler setup!!!!

Boomtube/mid muffler crew!

Hmmm...I might not stagger mine. It'll be easier to just slip the resonators onto the rear of the prochamber with the OEM clamps and then cut a section of the over axle pipes and clamp the rear of the resonators to them. We'll see how it turns out. Gonna order the parts required and hopefully install them next weekend. I really hope this turns out good. The search for the perfect exhaust sound is the bane of most S197 owners.

Staggered resonators help reduce and eliminate the drone!

Your car is one of the best sounding cars I've heard and hopefully with the resonators mine will sound similar even though I have a prochamber and you have an H-pipe. I ordered two Dynomax bullet mufflers last night from Summit Racing to use as resonators. They're 4" round with a 12" case length. Should get them mid week or so.

I got the Dynomax race bullets last night. They were under 40 bucks each. They're not the prettiest but then this isn't a beauty contest. They're definitely a straight through muffler/resonator though. Here's a couple of pics.

The only problem I foresee is that the straight section of the over axle pipes aren't exactly straight. They have slight bends in them here and there before going over the axle and to the rear. If I replace those "straight" sections with the race bullets then it's going to throw my boomtubes out of alignment again.

I know the race bullets are going to reduce the sound volume a bit and I'm hoping I'll still like the noise. I like it somewhat loud at idle. This is going to be like having four mufflers (two race bullets & the boomtubes)  Shoot...I might end up selling the boomtubes after all if the volume is not to my liking. I think it'll be louder at idle if I got rid of the boomtubes and have just the race bullets. Hmmmm...
