i've got a e303 cam, weaind stealth intake, holley 600 carb and gt-40p heads what timing would work best for this combo

really its different on all cars....what type of fuel 93 plus? ....just keep advancing it just before u get spark knock most guys are problably around 13-15 BTC

I think 14BTC might be good... lets see if someone else has some input

you know u have to pull that plug that is by the lock nut??? forgot what the name is, if you dont you wont get a straight read on the crank.. Im sure u already knew that though

spout connector needs to be removed...


Set the timing by trial and error... advance until your start hearing 'bad things' then back it off 2 degrees.

after playing with the timing  it runs good at a idle and fires right up but it's backfiring back through the carb when you give it gas I guess I need to check the plugs

 probably dont want more than 35 or 36 degrees total, where that lands @ idle is kinda irrelivent
