hey guys, supposidly my moms steering stabilizer is going out and the shop found this when installing new tires. they say to get one and install it will be $800 for a new one. I dont know much about 4 wheel drives at all but their just talking about for a completly stock vehicle. am I wrong or ? if anyone knows anything about this please let me know and if you could send me a link or let me know of a site that I could go to would really help me out and would be greatly appreciated.

$800 sounds steep, buy one aftermarket and change it in the driveway as long as its not tucked up high or something dumb

and yeah shops will usually check your front end and check the brakes when the wheels are off (if we find problems were making more work, meaning more money)

ya was planning on that but I cant find it anywhere.

thats also what I thought happened and what they were thinking but thats crazy.
