I was looking around on some other forums reading some kill stories when i come across one that that was written by a camaro owner. All i know about his car is that it was a v6. Anyway he tells everyone that he raced a remote controlled car. He says that he won but just barley and that it was one of the best races he had ever been in. Personally i think that if you would even think of racing a remote controlled car you would have to be pretty stupid but then actually tell other people about it and say that it was one of the best races that you have been in, that is just pathetic.

Some of the nitro remote controled cars can be faster than most cars 0 to 60.HPI proceed 0 to 60 less than 3 sec.I would say quick for any car remote or not.

there was a guy here in Tulsa that had a remote control car racing people. he was actully beating some v8's probably cause they didnt get any traction but still it was pretty fast. me and my bother used to race them and some are pretty quick. and yes the nitro powered ones are a lot faster.

That is it exactly. My 1/8th scale Nitro buggy weighs like 7 or 8 pounds but puts out almost 2.5 hp. Kinda hard for a streetable car to beat that. My buggy tops out at about 45-50, but that is in the gearing. If I buy the 2 speed trans, forget it. That puppy will hit 90!!!

thats pretty fast for a buggy. I know the street ones have no problem hitting those speeds. A street one runs 40-50 mph stock. If you did some mods to it it will run

what i thought was funny was on Ocean's Eleven when the morman brothers in utah race, one with a big ass truck and the other with the remote control replica, then the big truck just ran it over and laffed the whole way down the track.

ya man, theres murcielago rs4+ i think there called from hpi, they can hit like 65 in 3 seconds, thats faster than the real lambo lol... rc cars can be like so fast, it would be amusing to put them in a 1/16th(if such) drag and see the sad faces :)  Zcpeanut37803.933599537

I raced an RC on my Suzuki 750R (when I had it) and it gave me a hard time.  -- Those things are wickedly fast from 0 to about 60--  that's it though, those little motors can't really handle much more than that.  --  My co-worker use to race those things when he said it could beat my bike I laughed....but after racing it....I learned not to underestimate 'em.

I had a remote controlled nitro plane that spun at 22,000 rpm. That thing freaking screamed. Too bad my dad crashed it from 250ft straight into the ground. IDIOT!LOL
