Very Funny - 5/3/2003 8:58:52 PM    JuiceMan   Posts: 33 Joined: 4/9/2003 From: United States Status: offline I was looking around on some other forums reading some kill stories when i come across one that that was written by a camaro owner. All i know about his car is that it was a v6. Anyway he tells everyone that he raced a remote controlled car. He says that he won but just barley and that it was one of the best races he had ever been in. Personally i think that if you would even think of racing a remote controlled car you would have to be pretty stupid but then actually tell other people about it and say that it was one of the best races that you have been in, that is just pathetic. My 1/8th scale Nitro buggy weighs like 7 or 8 pounds but puts out almost 2.5 hp. Kinda hard for a streetable car to beat that. My buggy tops out at about 45-50, but that is in the gearing. If I buy the 2 speed trans, forget it. That puppy will hit 90!!! (in reply to JuiceMan) Post #: 9

I know the street ones have no problem hitting those speeds. A street one runs 40-50 mph stock. If you did some mods to it it will run (in reply to JuiceMan) Post #: 10

Very Funny - 7/7/2003 4:02:50 PM    WhiteHawk   Posts: 495 Joined: 6/4/2003 From: United States Status: offline I raced an RC on my Suzuki 750R (when I had it) and it gave me a hard time.  -- Those things are wickedly fast from 0 to about 60--  that's it though, those little motors can't really handle much more than that.  --  My co-worker use to race those things when he said it could beat my bike I laughed....but after racing it....I learned not to underestimate 'em.
