Hopefully with any luck this will be my last trans question. I got my new aod in the 87 and everything bolted back up except one thing. The gear select cable braket. I have the cable attached to the linkage and the big hunk of metal is just hanging there and I can see no where it could bolt to. I know I should have remembered where it came from but I had "help" working on that side and they cant remember either. If anyone can explain, and or post a photo of where that bracket goes it would be a life saver. It is the one that runs from the gear select inside the car to the trans and keeps the cable from moving when you put it into a gear.
