ugh.....its under warranty, but still, this sucks ass.

i had to drive my dad's car to go run an errand for him, got back, put the car in park, and with my right foot still on the brake, started to press with my left foot on the parking brake, and SNAP it like broke something, and my foot went straight to the floor. pulled the lever, and it won't come back up

so now its immobile, and my dad's gonna be driving my stang for a while until he gets it fixed/gets a loaner from MB.

its a 2008 Mercedes CLS550 with AMG package, btw.

btw, i'm thinking of posting another girl thread, but if people are going to be annoyed by it, i won't post it. let me know what you think in this existing thread.

Wow, that's retarded that it just broke like that.

You sure you can't figure the girl thing out on your own? I say don't post anything unless you're going to include some pics.

Post the girl thread, people who complain just can't think of anything to say, help wise.

And for the car, that sucks but that's life.

I'm pretty sure people can think of plenty to say. It's just the saying it for the billionth time that gets old.

Damn Hercules.  Lighten up on the old mans ride.

At least it's under warranty.

i guess. the pedal is all the way to the floor. won't come back up by pulling the release lever.  and the parking brake is stuck on.

why the hell would they make a parking brake pedal?  what's wrong with the traditional lever that you pull up?

My ford explorer had a foot emergency brake...

It is about design and size. In a car, there is not enough room in the drivers well to fit all the pedals AND a emergency brake.

lol, I guess you would die of a heart attack if you saw the parking brake on my lincoln... it's just a button you push on the center counsel.... when you push the button you can hear the brake engage by itself.. it's pretty nifty

Why were you using the parking brake in an automatic?  I have a manual and I rarely use it even then.
