Well been missing awile had to redo intercooler. Went to NMCA in BowlingGreen Ky to car show to work and enjoy the day last Saturday. Reinstalled my big throttle body and had engine noise so need intercooler. Here is first step. Old intercooler on right sitting on bumper . Big differance. This was first attemp had to lower new intercooler later. Had move ac and radiator back approx 1"

Video underhood before I lowered the intercooler. http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w224/mgman75/intercooler%20install/?action=view&current=100_5991.flv
After I lowered it and added ductwork. Duckwork very important in my opion. It is also gasketed where it meets intercooler.

I love how every little thing you do to your car is "clean". It doesnt look too messed up and out of place. It looks like it fits properly.

Is that an intercooler from ebay? Surprisingly, the made in china intercoolers are very good quality. The taught those 8 year old chineese kids how to weld rather well.

Anyways, it looks like a pretty good install. Do you have any concerns with air flow to the radiator with that piece of duct work above the intercooler?

I been having problem with running to cold. Has v-8 radiator with 87 turbocoupefan system.Been running with one unplugged.Went toBowlingGreen Ky last Saturday and Sunday. About 80 miles away. No problems. We shall see when hits 90+ degrees. Can always remove some it. I toook it for a test ride with no nose. Then with the duct works there is a difference. Yes intercooler from e-bay reasonable price and in and out on one side. Made it easier with nonrotated intake. Was going to rotate it but after seeing huber car and reading Maxium Boost going to leave it alone. Especially in a daily driver.
