Hubby wouldnt have it done, but I would have never asked him to. We probably would have 10 before he would let somebody cut his stuff. LOL I had my tubes tied after the 4th, but only because the dr reccomended that I not have any more after the third. He said I was putting my health at risk, so after just one more, (lol) I had it done.

I had mine done after my second son was born, we didn't want to risk 3 boys.
1) Go to a urologist, not your primary care physician. My urologist said that all of the "repairs" he's ever had to do were done by PCPs. Uro's are experts in that area.
2) Reverals are only 50% successful (so said my doc). AND, they hurt way more, and require a bigger incision (to dig in and find everything to put back together). Be SURE this is what you want. I'm not sure I'd use the word "easy".
3) Your junk will be purple and swollen (not in a good way) for 24 to 48 hours. Use lots of ice. This part sucks. It's the price you're paying.
4) After that, it's all good. Never had a problem in 3 years, still baby-free. It can take a few weeks for all the swimmers to make their way out of your system, hence the need for testing. Don't skimp!

i'm actually surprised that a lot of you guys WOULD do it. I see it as.... If us women go through nine months of pain, and push about a 7 pound human out of our bodies (sometimes more than once or twice), then you men can go under the knife for once.
My husband and I are actually trying to make some babies right now.... so he will not have one for a long time.

Good luck with the baby making. lol we tried for years before I had surgery to be able to have kids. Then had 4 good sized babies.(no c-section) they were 8lbs 4 oz, 7lbs 5oz(5 weeks premature), 9lbs 6oz, and 7lbs 4oz (also early). Both premies were fine. the first one stayed in the hospital for a week. and the 2nd came home within 24 hrs of birth. If the premies had not been early they would have been around 9lbs too. lol Then had my tubes tied to stop. He just had to help make them and hold my hand while I had them. lol It was such hard work for him.

fairly easy? IDK about that. Plus it's about 12 grand or so and insurance won't cover it. About the only easy decision on this planet that will run you 12 grand is a ZX-10R.
I got snipped after my wife and I had our 2nd kid. She was going to get her tubes tied but I was in the military, and those doctors will not tie your tubes unles you are over 30 and have at least 3 kids. Been snipped for 9 years now, never regretted it, not once.
