The JLT is what I plan to get also. Orion_240 05-10-2008, 01:50 PM ORIGINAL: partsbill right here. local://upfiles/31978/DDB2FE36D3C54247901F420F8B2AFDE5.jpg Good eye! It is a bit uneven in the pic. Is that a big crease in the filter too? Turning the clamps will make it look much cleaner and I think having them right at the edge is the way to go. I noticed you have your clamp at the throttle body turned too. Is it still easy to access the screw? I don't suppose those tips are anywhere in the instructions, assuming the kit even came with any? Keep 'em coming! partsbill 05-10-2008, 02:03 PM ORIGINAL: Orion_240 ORIGINAL: partsbill right here. local://upfiles/31978/DDB2FE36D3C54247901F420F8B2AFDE5.jpg Good eye! It is a bit uneven in the pic. Keep 'em coming! no problem accessing the screw, I used a socket and ratchet to tighten, and there were no tips included in the instructions. brad281 05-10-2008, 03:01 PM ORIGINAL: partsbill looks good, but it would look even better if you spin the clamps around with the screw drive at the bottom and trim the elbow with a nice straight edge http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s125/partsbill/001-6.jpg Gotta rub some tire shine on that elbow. bluerock 05-10-2008, 09:01 PM Stupid question. Do you have to get at different tune on the computer or is it just a bolt on and go? richmod 05-10-2008, 09:36 PM ORIGINAL: partsbill looks good, but it would look even better if you spin the clamps around with the screw drive at the bottom and trim the elbow with a nice straight edge http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s125/partsbill/001-6.jpg What heat shield is that? That doesn't look like the one I have that came with the JLT. partsbill 05-12-2008, 06:40 AM ORIGINAL: richmod ORIGINAL: partsbill looks good, but it would look even better if you spin the clamps around with the screw drive at the bottom and trim the elbow with a nice straight edge http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s125/partsbill/001-6.jpg What heat shield is that? That doesn't look like the one I have that came with the JLT. it's the JLT heat shield, I just added the weatherstripping to try to seal it to the hood, plus it looks better then the piece of plastic they call a heat shield. |
