I just got off the phone with the tranny builder "Redneck Performance", and he told me I had an 8 tooth on the tail shaft and since I was running a 3.90 gear with a 27" tall tire, he told me to get as close to a 23 tooth driver gear as possible. Any ideas on what color gear that may be?

The color I have on the cable is Grey looking to me. I even sprayed it off with some carb/choke cleaner to clean all the dirt and grease off of it before I stuck it into my new tranny. I know it is Grey in color.

My car had 3.73's in it from the factory. I think I will pull it back out and see how many teeth are on the gear before I buy a new one.
