TrAb -> Drag suspension (5/9/2008 2:43:46 PM)

Hey guys ive been saving up some money here lately and i think im ready to buy me a suspension kit. What kind would be good for drag racing? Im sure there are websites that sell these kits like hotcakes but i cant seem to find them :D ... Im still going to be driving the car on the street pretty often, so i would still like to be able to do that fairly easily. If you know of a good kit let me know,  Thanks

PS. Car is a 93 GT 351w

if you wanna do it cheap find some 4 cyl springs and get some 50/50s for the rear and 90/10 for the front and youll have a drag suspension on the cheap. foxes are kinda flexy so dont forget about some good frame connectors. and dude dont street race, thats what drag strips are for, im sure some of us here have seen some of the street racing go bad.

probably 11 sec somewhere[;)]

TrAb -> RE: Drag suspension (5/9/2008 9:52:27 PM)

I would love to be able to run 10's, so im thinking with a good suspension setup and a small shot of nitrous i should be able to do this.

mjr46 -> RE: Drag suspension (5/9/2008 10:51:53 PM)

well of course on the bottle no problem..N/A  motor should be close to that .. my 347 ran an 11.79 on 2nd pass out of the box  with room to improve so you got it no problem and I have a 100 shot yet to use.... so I's assume on the bottle I'll run high 10's[;)]
