Removing water spots...
 

So my Mach looks like it has leprosy. I'm sure they are on there good since the Mach has to sit outside in whatever whether comes it's way :(.

So is there way to remove water spots without a porter cable? I'm a complete rookie when it comes to detailing so any/all info would be greatly appreciated! I need to get her looking clean before this show/cruise I'm going on! I have a clay bar kit from Mothers that I'll get to using within the next couple of days. But is there a way to remove water spots by hand? I can't afford a porter cable at the moment!

you can try vinegar/distilled water @ 1:1. wipe a test panel with that after a wash and see if that takes them off. if they're etched into the clear coat you might be able to polish them out by hand with a finishing polish.

3m ultra fina can be found at a local body shop supply store. you might also want to look into obsessive detail's light polish. works pretty good by hand

What do you mean 1:1? So like 1 cup of water and 1 cup of vinegar (on a small scale)?
That doesn't hurt the paint at all does it?

Try a solution with more water than that first, if it doesn't work that great then put more in..Better than ruining something by trying too strong of a concentration first.

yeah, you can try a lighter dilution if you'd like, but you said it's been sitting so there's a good chance the spots are etched in the clear and it will need to be polished.
