Hey Y'all. I've been reading these posts and day dreaming of the day I will own the new mustang. I just recently received a promotion at work which will allow me to afford a new mustang. So since I will hopefully one day be owning one I decided to join the group. I do have a question. Do any of you have children and if so does a car seat fit in the back? I don't have the children a lot but I pick them up from school at least once a week and will need to be able to fit a car seat. Thanks!!

No kids here...

I waited till my kids grew up and moved out of the house so I wouldn't have to deal with them wanting to DRIVE my GT.. HAHA

Good thinking, Professor! I avoided the whole issue by not having 'em.

I won't have to worry about him or her driving it cause by the time they are old enough to drive I will have something else. Plus 15-20 years is a long time to wait for a car.

hey livers, I do have kids and a car seat in the front or back will fit, not very comfortable if you have a big family. Get the wife a mini van or a suv and leave the stang for yourself.
Welcome aboard and good luck.

One of the first things I did was go to a dealer and test fit my kids car seats - then started working on the wife.

Now if you're talking about the rear-facing baby seats, there'll probably be trouble onless the front passenger are demure enough to sit all the way forward. Both my kids are in booster seats now, so even with Mom and Dad up front and confortable, there's room for a 7 and 4 year old.

Good thing I got my Mustang now, and not when they get to be teenagers!

baby and booster work just fine for my little Charlotte and Savannah, 6 and 2.5 in age. A little tight, but fun to have them in the car......

They like the rumm rumm....

later and good luck,

My 1 yr old fits fine in the back with the carseat. A lot better than an adult would fit back there.

It just depends if you want an awesome car or a practical one.

Oh yeah, good luck finding a GT, not to easy to come by!
