Anyone know of a simple way to flush block w/o removing block plug. ponyboy302 05-09-2008, 05:14 PM why not just remove the plug ? is it a pain to put back in ? i asked a similar question a week ago and no one answered me lol anyone have a picture of where on the block this plug is ? MarkNieb 05-09-2008, 05:14 PM I recommend not trying to flush your motor. I did it as recommended on here and it ruined my entire car. camaroeater 05-09-2008, 05:27 PM ORIGINAL: ponyboy302 why not just remove the plug ? is it a pain to put back in ? i asked a similar question a week ago and no one answered me lol anyone have a picture of where on the block this plug is ? Besides, it didn't ruin your entire car, just the engine. MarkNieb 05-09-2008, 05:43 PM ORIGINAL: 1985stang ORIGINAL: MarkNieb I recommend not trying to flush your motor. Car was of no use to me anymore as it would not run...... mjr46 05-09-2008, 09:42 PM ORIGINAL: MarkNieb I recommend not trying to flush your motor. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH FLUSHING THE COOLING SYSTEM^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ your problem was you flushed the oiling system with water per a members joke and you were just to nieve to realize the reccommendation was a joke;) ponyboy302 05-10-2008, 05:20 AM so its an allen key bolt thats it ? and it goes right back in .. no gaskets or anything ??? anyone have a picture of it ? HACKGT350 05-10-2008, 07:33 AM you normally cant get the block plugs out, more than half the time they are rusted in really bad and youll either strip the plug or break it pulling it out. just stick a garden hose in the water neck and flush the engine out that way. pull the t-stat though or you wont get anywhere;) so your the one that flush your crank case with water[&:][&:][&:] |
