Just put out an unrelated post about how I installed the PIE FRD04-AUX unit in my 06 Mustang for my MP3 player. I'm happy with the results, but I recently noticed that since install the driver side window does not automatically "close the gap" when you shut the door after engine shut off. Probably a PLC issue with the data port.
Is there a solution for this? Not critical since the rubber seal prevents rainfall from getting in anyhow, but is there a "reboot" that can fix this? The passenger window shuts up no problem.
Do you think the window drop issue and the FRD04-AUX are related? I'm not disagreeing with you but it really doesn't seem likely these things could be related. I am thinking that it might be a coincidence that the two events seem to have occured at the same time. The owner's manual has a procedure that shows how to re-calibrate the short drop glass feature. Have you tried that?

It happened right after I did the install, so I assumed it was consequential. However, this did happen once before and it "corrected" itself the same day. I'll check the manual.
