Just got 4th ticket in two weeks, andnone werefor speeding. Last week IL state trooper pulled me over for (loud exhuast and no-seatbelt). Todaythe same officerjust pulled me over agian at the same intersection this timefor (loud-exhaust, tinted windows, and no front lisence plate). So stay out of DEKALB, IL or officer Torrez will get your ass.

I drive 'normally' when cops are around and if they aren't... I mean I don't floor it and do donuts around them, but I don't cut the throttle to quiet my exhaust or drive 10 under when they're behind me...

The cop get jealous? Ahaha. The cop who probably makes at least 50k a year, can afford his own mustang if he wants, gets jealous of your sweet 15 year old rustang so he decides to pull you over?

Please. You get pulled over because you're doing something wrong, not because the cop is jealous of your ride or a dick. And whoever said cops are stupid, I'm sure they've been through more school with better averages than you have.

And the reason he pulls you over for improperly changing lanes or following too closely is because it's illegal, dips***. They also both cause accidents.

I am by know means a cop hater because 95% of cops are in it for the right reasons. Unfortunately their are egotistical cops out their that think they are god whenever they have their badge on.This guy was unreal, I have never seen someone with such a bad case of small-mans syndrone. Tough-guy cops like thisguy are the reason cops get a bad name and movies likeSUPERTROOPERS made.When i asked him what his name was he told me and then leaned over and said "you don't intimidate me." I felt like he was provoking me, the whole time. Not to mention this guy and his partner ticketed me last week too(seatbelt)

He first pulled me over for tint, and then made a circle of my car and wrote a ticket for no front lisence plate. Then after he gave me my tickets and i fired up my car the prick wrote a warning for loud exhaust. he told me if it doesn't get fixed ill get ticketed next time. (Its not even that loud---bbk shorties, bbk h-pipe, and dumped flows)

Cops like him need to realize that they don't have do demand respect. People will respect you if you are respectfull to them.

Since I live in IL I feel I can comment on this. Lets see tint = illegal in IL and they are ticketing for it a lot latley, no seat belt..also an IL state law, no front plate...also illegal in IL. I am pretty sure you are aware of this so my question is why do you run around with stuff on your car that is clearly illegal? If your going to have your car set up in a manner that is not 100% legal you have grounds to bitch when you get pulled over. I don't run a front plate on my car either but when/if I get pulled over for it I am not going to cry about because I KNOW it's my choice to not have the car 100% legal. Your a younger guy in a loud Mustang, of course the car is going to catch the cops attention. Either keep it legal or pay the price, but don't blame the cops.

I've had mine on the road only a week and a half, and I have been tailed three times. When you have loud exhaust it really makes you obey the laws.

My main point for this post was "watch out because 5.0's will get cops attention and they will hammer you for petty things that they would probably let slide if you were driving a 2001 camry"

uhm my car is high profile and i get tailed all the time, ive gotton pulled over and searched b4 just because of my car. i mean if u want the attention of having a nice car then deal with it. good or bad. if not sell it and stfu.

i have a 5.0 in my mustang with longtube headers straight to glasspacks with turndowns and have never been bothered once by the police. so im 18, drive a bright red, loud mustang...i have ticket written all over me. maybe the cops are just cooler where i live.

I didn't know people were jealous of 5.0 mustangs.

I haven't been pulled over yet in my classic, maybe they just give respect haha, but I haven't really encountered many cops either.
