Well, my alternator died the other day so i decided to get a new battery, now i have a head and cam 5.0 bored to 306, nothing spectacular, but anyway as i was working on my stereo system i let my buddie put the battery in wich is relocated into the trunk, next thing i know i see smoke rising out of my alternator, the idiot put the battery in the wrong way, i was just wonderin if anyone knows how much this could screw up my car and how much would it be to fix it because it has seemed to have lost a lot of power and the cd player doesnt work at all.. also it sounds different when its idling and running??
