My friend just finished up his N/A stroked k20 build in a civic hatch. He says it really needs a better tune but the best run he got a english town a week ot two ago on test and tune night was a 12.6 at like 110. I'll try to get some picks of the car and some of the slips, but if you saw this car the only thing that even makes it stand out is the exhaust other than that if you were sitting next to it you'd think it was just another 16 second civic.

yeah at first i was afraid you had a GT till i noticed the lights weren't off to the sides and then scrolled down and saw your sig.  and +1 i don't know how it's misleading, is says "v6" right there..
but anyways that's a good race, everyone looks down on civics until one blows by them and they learn a few things..I saw a real done up civic in carlisle(cause the import car show) he had it sent from Japan because the drivers seat was on the right side of the car, I passed it at first expecting a typical ricer car but then noticed it and asked him what he had done, he just told me it wasn't a normal civic anymore.  I'm sure he would of blew me away because he got on it a little and that thing took of pretty quick when i heard the turbo spool up.

My brother and his friends, 4doorcivicsleeper especially, has completely changed my point of view on imports.  I mean, these cats are building 10-12sec 4bangers, and most are doing it pretty cheaply.   There is one that has dropped a pretty penny on his, but he's run 7.30's @100 in the 1/8, on tiny slicks.  He now has 24" I believe.

Respectable loss to the op, especially against a k20.  Time to hook up with fazm and get that thing really moving

i guess i could say one big thing over imports though like civics and such, nobody really pays any attention to them to be a cool car, yeah they can be fast, but it's nice to have a really cool looking and fast car at the same time

Maybe thats a little broad   Sorry about that, I do know that the one said ^ hatch, if he can hook, should be pretty deep in the 11's.  I thought that Aron's (4doorsleeper) brother was supposed to be a little quicker, but he's not tuned yet (last I know of).

EDIT    McCaren is alread in the low 11's.  7.31 came out roughly at 11.4*.  I think he's now on a 24x9 hoosier, so he should be shiiiting and gitting pretty good now.  Maybe very very high 10's?   (if he wasnt maxxed out during that 7.3 run (16psi) he def has a shot and 10's)

I've seen some very nicely done up civics that I really like the looks of. It's all in the eye of the beholder.

Yeah I'm not sure who it was but I went against a turbo 93ish blue colored Civic coupe with black wheels (Rota I believe).I was told later on it was just a D16. It was a short race I had 4 people in the car and pulled him about a car. That was also before I had alot of the bolt-on's on the GT.That was hmm about 2 years ago if I had to guess.

That is not even close the the level your talking about though..just thought you might know the car..
