Ok so im doing a rebuild on my motor this summer on my 89 mustang gt and was wondering if i had to get stiffer valve springs?Im guna b running an f303 cam with the ford hydraulic lifters.Any1 kno a good set of springs for this application and how stiff a springs ill need? If helpful im guna b using gt40 heads with new factory compression pistons.

prolly doesent matter but either but the heads are guna be bored about .030 ova

I know for that cam and E7 heads you would need FRP A-50 springs and B-50 retainers. If the GT-40 has the same spring pockets as the E7's it would be the same. Contact a Ford Racing Parts Distributor and check.

you mean the block  heads aren't bored they're ported......and you can get the springs and retainers at summit racing = a-50 springs and b-50 retainers
