Let me start by giving a little bit of background information:
I have a twin brother (and a younger one) that remember our father's '65 2+2 Fastback. It was a nicely optioned car with factory A/C and red with black interior. Due to our grandfather complaining about what an eyesore the car was our father sold it in 1979. (We all really miss it.) My twin brother and I have never forgotten that car. We both owned camaros in high school and had various vehicles till now, including my brother owning a 1999 GT Convertible. Last year, after several years of waiting to get another mustang, he bought a '07 ShelbyGT/SC.
Well I have wanted a classic musclecar for 28 years and last night I finally bought one. I bought a 1969 Mach 1 Fastback with a 351W (modified), Overdrive Automatic, a posi-traction rearend and four wheel disc brakes. There is no rust on the body (all been fixed or removed) and runs a new dual flowmaster 3" exhaust. If that's not a musclecar I don't know what is. I have alot of plans for it but first is to get everything working right (runs strong but needs a few little things to make it highway safe). I will post pictures asap.
I know alot about the history of the car and can talk about somethings but I don't have alot of mechanical knowledge or the tools to really do it myself. Anyways, glad to have found such a large site that seems to have a ton of information.
