well then you want Paul, no govt interference in the transactions of the oil industry. well cut cali off from the us and then there will be no more liberals and we can drill and build new refinery's

heck china is drilling off of our coast closer than we will let American corps do it all because people dont want to look out and see a pump

I think what you mean to say is that the US will get rid of california so the US can have half the economy it used to have.

for the record, I'm all for CA not being part of the US.  California does not benefit by being part of the US, yet the US benefits greatly by having the technology, economy and agriculture of california.

I completely agree 100%. We, as a state, can do MUCH better by ourselves then we could with the current system we have.

basically if you are poor it is in your best interest to vote for Hilary. If you are rich you can go ahead and vote for "GW McCain" and expect some tax breaks and never a free hand out.

one isn't better then the other , they just favor different groups in different ways. Hillary favors me for the next 4 years as Iam not a wealthy and have no health insurance, so I will vote for her.

if GW bush was running for office again would you vote for him? well if you vote for McCain thats what you are doing. Capitalism by nature will rip this nation apart, people are NOT poor because they are not hard working its a class system wall they are bound by. Its time for a socialist movement. Marx himself said that capitalism must resort to socialism to sustain itself.

Good input.

I must assume with Your vast knowledge of our economic system and the statistics provided that deal with people who have an income below the poverty level, that You are correct in stating that SXGT's 'liberal pussy' is wrong.

Or is it that You have no idea what You are talking about and, basically, are the equivalent of a big blubbering vagina?

You know "you" isn't a proper noun, right? Unless you're talking directly to God himself, in which case "you" would be used like "He", or "Him."

But anyway, I wouldn't say I have a "vast" knowledge of the American economic system, but the statement that SXGT made was basically saying that poop people are poor because class dictates they are poor, and cannot relieve themselves of being in the lower class. In which I responded, "Bull ****." (it censored the whole word, and only put 4 ****).

And that is bull ****. People aren't poor because they are chosen to be in that social class at birth or something. Your successfulness in life (in America at least) has to do with your own motivation and willingness to work at what you want. There's plenty of oppurtinities for anyone to become rich and successful. Nobody is saying "No, you're poor now, you have to be poor forever no matter what you do!" Granted some people have it easier than others, but it is complete bull **** to say that there is a "class system wall" that keeps poor people poor.

I usually capitolize You to signify that the person is important.

I like to try to make people feel good sometimes.

are any of you old enough to vote?

you should only be capitalized if it is the first word in a sentence, but only douchebags will bring up things like that in a forum discussion, unless the person MAKING the errors is going on about how bright he or she may be...in the event that someone is going on about how good their school is, or how bright they are, that is an automatic excuse to point out spelling and grammtical errors.

when i write, my grammar is spot-on, but on the forums, i dont put much effort into watching for spelling, grammar, or key-stroke errors unless im repremanding someone, or some other "official" business.

Well since that's the case I'll disregard the blubbering vagina comment.

I love George W. Bush, he is the man. And I laugh when people act they are smarter than our president. Granted, he's not very good at public speaking, but at least he stands for something.

I like a lot of stuff bush does , but not this war, but it seems to be the one that matters the most at this point. ANYWAY

Back it up before the name calling , The fact of the matter is that the biggest determining factor to someone's future income is the income of their parents yeah some poor people make it to the big time but most poor people stay poor even when working hard or doing two jobs. The cost of living has become way to much and that is why I support an economy that lowers that cost , or a socialist movement.
