notch5oh -> late night+hooking up batt.= BAD (5/9/2008 9:17:01 AM)

i hooked up my battery backwards, went to start it and obviously nothing happpend, I hooked the cables up right and now it will only start by turning the key on and jumping the 2 solenoid posts
i have no power at the red/ lt. blue wire coming from the ignition switch to the solenoid. Could i have fried the clutch saftey switch or ignition switch?
