Does anybody else here have a REALLY bad reading on their gas gauge, I can never get it to be accurate. The first half of the tank it reads somewhat accurately, but once it gets past a half of a tank it just takes a dive and I usually end up driving on "E" for a week or so. Has anybody else had this problem? I've replaced the gauge and the sending unit, what else could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

mine is off quite a bit, got much worse when i put in a new tank and sending unit. Mine just drops off fast through the entire range, when it says 1/4 tank i have used less than half. Empty now means i have used just a tad more than half. It is very annoying. I would love to know what the problem is also.

mine works perfectly fine, if it says empty i can fit about 55 litres into the tank (seems correct to me)
usually a bad reading is a sign of bad ground, or bad connectors between the sending unit and the gauge

Yep, clean the terminal and squeeze it together some. It may help.
