Dont have any yet, but i have a 2007 Vista Blue v6, i plan on painting the black plate to match the color.

22" might look a little excessive, but I think the rims are neat. I would have gone 18-20 max though, JMO.

Nice looking car, nice looking rims....but not nice looking rims on the nice looking car. 22's are just way too big for our cars IMO. I think 20's are the max that lookgood and even some 20's look too big IMO - it all depends on the tires at that point. But that's just me.

So since you asked, my opinion is too big. You'll definitely need to post pics though.

Just be careful of speedbumps, pot holes, rocks, little pieces of dirt, maybe some dust that settles on the road. [>:]

O and just be ready to be ridiculed by putting 22"s on a mustang[8D]

My buddy has gotten nothing but compliments on his. One day we got pulled over an the officer was giving him props on how good his car looked. I dont know if that is why he only got a warning but thats what he likes to tell people.

22"s do not belong on a Mustang, definitely a big no no. yuck!

Some people say that 20" dont belong on Mustangs either. I never thought about 22" until i saw my buddies car.

They do look good on the WCC Shelby!! But you have to get a body kit or it will look cheesy!!!

I plan on ordering a body kit in July haven't really figured out what i want yet though.

Maybe the word was rice.....which would also be my description. Inappropriately sized, gaudyrims are just one component of the look that could also include the lambo doors and theboy racer wing as described above. I don't know what sized rims a civic maxes out with, but 18-20's would seem to parallel chrome dripped 22's on ours. I don't know why you would get all fired up over this......he did ask for everybody's opinion. All that really matters is that he likes them though.

I guess my only question is...now that you got your rims coming, when are you going to pick up the Hummer they belong on? I love my car and wouldn't put those rims, or any 22"s for that fact, on my mustang if someone paid me $10,000.00.

But anyways, no offense intended, to each his own, I just wouldn't do this to my car if someone paid me. There are so many nice 18 or possibly even 20 inch rims out there that look so nice, there is absolutly no need for 22s. Enjoy replacing those tires every 6,000 miles at probably 400 a pop.

trust me, around here people have found ways to do so.

of course im talking about a town where ive seen people cut body pieces off their civics to make them lighter so they can think they have a "No BS racer" or in this case to put their 20s or 22s on

The 20" rims fill out the wheel wells nicely and makes the car look a lot beefier!! I've had many compliments from several mustang enthusiast!! On a downside, I can really feel the potholes and debree on the ground w/ my tires. I'm not sure I would go up to 22".

22" is way to big, will look absolutly ridiculous to everyone except ghetto rap stars

once you exceed 20" those things belong on SUV's. shoot, chryslers can fit 24's. but why do it? you cant lower the car, youre getting worse performance, and 9 times outta 10 they just look trashy.and you better watch everything cause curbrash looks B-A-D on chromies...

nice rims but to big, I have 18's on my car at stock height and i think 20 would look ok but anything bigger would look HUGE. but if you like it go for it.

LOL...ya know what, it's funny you say that, because I was considering not posting it because it was my first post...

I've been a member here for about 1-2 months...and you're right, I don't post much, I typically like to read discussions and just stalk in the shadows, I'm not much of a poster...but that makes my post here even more validated...because...

If after all the posts I've read here and not said a word...this is by far the most god ugliest thing I've ever seen done to a mustang, so I had to comment. I'm not attempting to be mean or hurt someones feelings, but he asked for an opinion, and I gave an honest one.

If this forum is just about posting what you're doing to your car and wanting people to compliment it...then here...

question though, is your friends car bone stock with 22" s on it? hope not

Seriously, good luck going over ANYTHING that's not flat. I had a blow out in the rear going over train tracks on 295/30/20's and they were at 32 psi. Here's my current car with 20" (255/35/20 in the front and 295/35/20 in the rear). As you can see, it's a tight squeeze and just barely fits nicely. Oh and BTW, that mark on the rear is from the camera.

I pretty much expected the flood gates to open when i made this topic,

and to SemperFi789 besides a Ford intake and Flomasters everything else is stock on my buddies car.

When I purchased my stang (used) the 20" wheels came with it, so I did not really have a choice.

Ideally, I would have gone w/ 18" Bullit wheels. Suprisingly, the 20" wheels grew on me, plus I am able to purchase tires on tirerack.com very inexpensive!! I paid less than $110 per tire!! :-)
