Might I suggest masturbating with your other hand until the pain goes away?

haha, even tho its photoshopped.  wish i had that though, and then i really wish i had a 4v v12 under the hood as well.

the run helped a bit, at least now i think im tired enough to pass out in my chair and wake up in 40 minutes.  maybe i can find some ibuprofen later

hmm....someone enlighten me.....3 intake and 2 exhaust or 3 exhaust and 2 intake? intake should be bigger than exhaust, and the 2 big valves combined looks bigger than the 3 smaller ones combined...but having 3 exhaust valves and 2 intake valves doesnt seem right either... and the small ones are darker so im assuming theyre the exhaust valves....thats strange as hell....3 exhaust 2 intake...that right? im sure skar knows

i would imagine that the intake valves would be smaller dont you think?  i mean cars need very little gas in order to run, and perhaps a third intake valve will make it gas + air + air.  Exhaust valves should be bigger so they can dump all the remains out as fast as possible.

nope...intake valves are always bigger...more air the engine can suck in the more it can breathe and therefore more hp... exhaust is pushed out smaller valves....also the intake valves are aluminum and the exhaust have to be a different metal that can survive heat...aluminum exhaust valves would melt...thats why i think the darker in that pic if exhaust...the intake valves dump air into the cylinder and then the valves close, then the fuel injector shoots into the cylinder, and the piston comes up to compress the air/fuel mixture, then the spark plug ignites and causes combustion, the piston shoots down and the exhaust valve opens and the piston comes back up and pushes the exhaust out..not sure what you meant about one valve containing gas

wut? I'm pretty sure there would be an injector up in the runner somewhere, so they would all recieve the same mix.

maybe the runners going to the intake side are bigger anyways and having a 3rd exhaust valve helps spool a turbo, somewhere, faster.

I think the reason I thought the intake valve let fuel + air in is because of when I worked on my dirtbike.
Anyways, then I'm confused as you to why they would put 3 exhaust valves when it seems like 2 would be plenty.

and i know how an internal combustion engine works jackass   maybe just not an EFI engine...

http://www.britannica.com/ebc/art-66070/Cross-section-showing-one-cylinder-of-a-four-stroke-internal
Cross section showing one cylinder of a four-stroke internal-combustion engine. In the first stroke (shown), a cam (left) compresses a valve spring, opening the intake valve to admit the fuel-air mixture to the cylinder.

one of the valves on your dirtbike lets in nothing but gas? and the other one nothing but air?

that seems like an inefficient way to atomize the mixture. just joshin ya.
