StriderTacticaL -> RE: Corporate lease vehicle? (5/9/2008 2:41:35 AM)

LOL nice. Yeah thanks a lot, I really really hope it wasn't any sorta rental car. I'll look into this as much as I can before and during the car comes. I heard the car shipped today, from Texas. I'm guessing that it may get here by Monday or so, in which case Carmax locks the car for 3 days for me to make a decision, before they put it on the public floor. These cars of exactly trim, colors and specs have been REALLY hard to find in this area, believe it or not. The few that i've found had really high mileage, like 67k, 75k, etc. When I saw this one that only had like 26,800 miles I jumped on it almost right away. I'm 19 and it is also gonna be my first car, so I want to do everything right the first time. Honestly as long as it wasn't truely a rental car I'm ok with it, especailly how Carmax checks up all their cars throughly and does include a 5-day refund guarantee and a 30-day warranty. I'm just worried about someday when I may want to sell it, I will just be getting even less than the already low amount that I would be able to sell it for. Since I'll have to be paying a premium of $17,600 for this car anyways. I wonder what happens if I buy this car and register it as my personal car. On the top of the carfax report where it says "Type of ownership: Corporate fleet lease" will it be changed to "Personal" maybe... Brandon Brandon
