egr problems - 5/8/2008 9:58:58 PM    usermst9673   Posts: 127 Joined: 5/29/2007 Status: offline So i had what sounded like a bad idle, possibly missing and decided to pull the vaccum hose on the egr valve as soon as i did it idled way better. Is the valve bad, or is it something else with the egr system. Does the valve open when there is vaccum or when there is not? RE: egr problems - 5/10/2008 2:43:25 AM    usermst9673   Posts: 127 Joined: 5/29/2007 Status: offline so i am assuming the vaccum line should not be pulling vaccum at idle correct? cause the idles horrible with it connected to the egr and i know its pulling vaccum.
