1988stangGT5.0 -> HELP - Shes eating batteries (5/8/2008 8:27:05 PM)
Just picked up a '88 gt - Ate the last battery and I wasn't sure if it was new or not so I Threw a new battery in her and she ate this one too.
Starter=New - Battery=New - Alternator=New - Relay tested and correct
Where do I go from here? it was semi intermittent, but today she just died and wouldn't start even with a jump? Acts like a normal dead battery when the lights are left on - trys to roll over but just not enough oomph to crank the motor.
Welcome! Im sorry i have no clue about 5.0 mustangs or your problem, id check out the 5.0 forum or even general check with your problem. Most people dont visit this the welcome area.
Welcome to MFs.. from everything you've changed, my only next clue would be to start tracing wires, you're grounded out somewhere... (bare wire rubbing the frame) good luck!
