    Im buying a set of dunlop direzza's, 275/40/17 for my 04 and was wondering (I did use the search, came up with very little) can i fit 275's up front or do i have to buy 245's for the front and 275's for the rear? im not changing my wheels in the rear. car is at stock ride height also. thanks!

make that general UHP summer somethings.. cheaper and the reviews on TR are great.  dunlop reviews are not

You can run 275's up front (9" rim needed), but is really maxing out clearance. I run them, but have fenders rolled. If you are running 8" rims, you are really only going to get max of 255's to fit properly. If you want, you can easily go 315's on 10.5"s out back.

i think its a 17x9.5 stock, isn't it? anyway im getting 2 245's and 2 275's for the rear.

If you are running 9.5"s, than it is not a stock rim. 245's will fit on a that rim, but is bare minimum width. This will leave your rim vulnerable to curbs and such as the rim will be wider than the tire, so be careful.

it has OE tires and OE rims. And they are 245's. maybe theres miscommunication somehow.

Yes, that makes sense. When you thought they may have been 9.5"s, I was like

I am sure you are running 8" rims, as 245's are a good fit for them. If you want to run 275's, you will need to go to at least a 9" rim.
