I wouldn't buy that engine. Thats pretty much what I got and theirs no way its 350 horse. Look into something that has forged pistons, especially cause you want to spray it.

You can get ALOT for 5gs. Take your time. Do a little more research.

+1, You will not beat the customer service and tech advice. And I would stay away from DSS there has been a lot of people who have had quality issues with their products.

for 5k you make a sick ass set up man, i got 412rwhp and it cost me 2.2k so...

crate motor is the way to go if you dont wanna get your hands dirty but if your a good tech and have the tools/equipment to do it,
find a mexican 5.0 block and build a nice 347 stroker use afr 205 heads lunati X cam probly a 292, msd ignition system all the normal stuff you probbly already no about then when your done throw a 125 wet shot kit on it and have some fun, mines 537hp with juice and i have sprayed it about 40 times with no problems just make sure you use a wet shot not dry

I have read a lot of posts of people saying that DSS is junk but have never seen a post of anyone that bought the stuff and posted the issues they had... not saying that your not accurate but I have never seen a post.
There are times that it seems that lots of people get on the product bashing bandwagon without really having first hand knowledge. Do you have any advice on where to look for some factual information about DSS and poor product reviews?

true..but not them..cause the extent of their customer service ends when the block hits the pallet and lands on the truck[:@]
