mysteed 05-09-2008, 12:11 AM I agree with ryan. Lose that sidestripe ASAP. Also, cut out those nasty foglight bars.
l_shizzle_l 05-09-2008, 01:59 AM x2 to the above. Black rims would look good imo.
alverjay 05-09-2008, 02:03 AM ill take a wack @ the stripes and ya the bars do need to go altho my body kit should be here soon as well but untill then :D
l_shizzle_l 05-09-2008, 02:07 AM I used a kitchen knife to cut them out, very easy task.
alverjay 05-09-2008, 02:08 AM prolly just use clippers and smooth out the rough esges
mysteed 05-09-2008, 01:19 PM What bodykit?
alverjay 05-12-2008, 10:09 AM its a saleen style bodykit, that has no markings or anything that says saleen on it, ive seen sixxers with actualy saleen kits on thier cars and it pisses me off, your car is not a saleen if u like the kit cool, bit gte rid of anything that says saleen

alverjay 05-12-2008, 10:19 AM good idea, ill have to use my camera phone to do it [:@]but ill do my best to get a vid sound clip of it up after my lunch break in a hour or so
stanglover1250 05-12-2008, 12:04 PM Can't wait. how much did that catback cost you?
alverjay 05-12-2008, 12:57 PM it ran 350 shipped to my door, here is a clip of it idle not the best quality cause i only have a camera phone here with me, the vynal strops i just tossed on really quick so it is hanging on the ground the rear hangers were snapped off during shipping im re welding those on tonight and will repost pics/clip of it once the welds cool and its actually mounted on there for good.

sorry for the quality again it sounds 10x better in person than it does on my phone lol
stanglover1250 05-12-2008, 01:25 PM thanks for the video but u need a camera man. lol nice job on a exhaust. Im buying me a magnaflow catback and the only thing that stopping me is the god damn rain. Its been reaining for past 3 days.
alverjay 05-12-2008, 01:30 PM I hear ya the day after I finished its rained here ever sense and ya i do need a regular camera gonna borrow my old ladies tonight i hope to get a better quality vid for ya'll
stanglover1250 05-12-2008, 01:52 PM Any hp gain from the exhaust?
alverjay 05-12-2008, 02:00 PM i noticed a jump right off the start honestly so yes imo
stanglover1250 05-12-2008, 02:09 PM Since you did the install how hard is it? is there any tricks i should know before??
alverjay 05-12-2008, 02:19 PM its was pretty simple if u have air tools you will be thankfull, remove the rear tires for easier access when slipping in your new tail pipes, jack up your car as high as you can and toss 4 stands under it for maximum clearence it makes a world of difference, all in all it was very easy only a few hours that includes about an hour lunch break. I did have to shorten my Y-Pipe about 4 inches on each side although the install directions did state that on some v6's the y-pipe may need to be shortened, easy enough to do with a saws-all.
stanglover1250 05-12-2008, 02:49 PM seems pretty simple. I was thinking of using ramps you think i can do the job with 10 inch hight ramps? i appriciate you help btw.
alverjay 05-12-2008, 02:52 PM as long as your front end will clear the ramps sure u can, you might have to eventually put the rear end up on ramps too tho, to each his own tho. just make usre u block your wheels if u use ramps
stanglover1250 05-12-2008, 03:04 PM Thank you so much for the help. I let you know how things went.
