'67 fastback

2cycle -> '67 fastback (5/8/2008 6:08:09 PM)

i found a 1967 mustang fastback that has very little rust, but is missing some front suspension parts and the engine and tranny. Basically its a rolling shell, and the guy is asking 4,000 for it. Is this worth it? the car has no title so how would i go about getting a new title?

I really want a fastback, but i could get a '70 coupe with a 351c that already runs for around the price of the fastback. i have trouble choosing, any suggestions?

67 fastbacks have jumped a lot in value since gone in 60secs.
if the rust is minor and cowl is ok then its probably not bad value. but that depends how much time and $ you have for the rebuild.

+1 to that, im not sure but you could always go with  70' fastback and "compromise" [;)] now i don't know what those shells are going for but i got mine for fixing the guy's trator and cutting down the pine tree in front of it and moving the 15+ 59-63 chevy impalas
