I have a squeeky clutch pedal when i press on the clutch. When i let go of the pedal it stops. it also shakes sometimes when barely pressed, but always makes a noise when pressed. any ideas, by the way im pretty new to cars so any ideas will be very helpful.

throw out bearing noise comes into play when the clutch pedal is released or how it would be with your foot off of it.

pilot bearing noise comes into play when the clutch pedal is depressed or in the process of being depressed.

my bet is that its a bad pilot bearing, which means its time for a new clutch.

To eliminate the squeak try this:

Jack up the car and put it on stands.

Crawl under the car and remove the dust boot on the transmission. It's aluminum and held on with a screw.

Have somebody disengage the clutch while you look at the throwout bearing that rides on the input shaft.

The squeak is probably coming from the bearing riding on the shaft. Put some grease on a screwdriver (or any other long, thin object) and grease the shaft.

Try not to get any grease on the pressure plate or clutch disc.

This is what I did when mine squeaked and it all worked out.
