If the tires are heated up you should be sticking bro. I can't watch the videos at work so I cant tell....is it a nice track or a back woods POS road? Could it be the track prep? Cold track? 6 speeds can be a bastard to launch though. I had a hell of a time getting my 60ft under 2.0.

yea make sure you remove all water from the tires and starting lines, also adjust your tire pressure. I have MT et streets on 17" rims, i've only made a couple of runs with them at the track and at 15psi and a 4.5k drop it launches like a bat out of hell(very ****ty track BTW).

Welcome to the world of the junk T56 and it's piss poor 1st gear ratio. What will help is lower control arms and relocation brackets. The relocation brackets will help with instant center and should keep the tires planted. What's happening is the car is sticking but it can't keep the tires planted after the initial hit, that's when the front end comes down and the rear tires unload. Also try removing the front sway bar (if you have not done it aready). When I was running a M6 I would slip the clutch really hard at 4500 rpm, this would help keep the tires planted, I was getting 1.8's on a 17 inch BFG dr, I did have lower control arms at the time.

So LCA's should help me out a lot?

So LCA's should help me out a lot? I s the car lower than stock? If so you REALLY need the control relocation brackets. The geometry gets all messed up whena car is lowered. Even if it is still at stock height they will help though.

Why would a short 1st gear be messing up his launch? Seems to me like a short first gear is going to be more 'torqy' (yes, i just used that word) and allow him to launch harder. Looks like youre still in my world Jim. 2.0X 60's sound nice, until you tell people that you're running a MT DR with a rwd car My best on MT ET Street Radials is 2.02, and who knows if I can get it lower. We both fail.
