moontang -> RE: stolen (5/9/2008 7:04:56 AM)

well at least they couldnt take your car.......

hity645 -> RE: stolen (5/9/2008 7:30:54 AM)

Buy rifle, leave about $200 in cash in plain sight in your vehicle.  Take turns watching the car from a window with said rifle.  When you see the person trying to break in shoot to disable.

DAMN IT....we had some1 brake into our cars again[:@][:@][:@] they stole my grandpa's S&W .40 this time, last time it was my ipod. called the po po, filed a report w/ the serial number of the pistol, hopefully it turns up and they nail the fukker thats doing this. in the mean time we need away to stop this. i.e. cameras, motion activated flood lights etc etc...any body got some bright ideas or experience w/ this kind of home security?

jman511115 -> RE: stolen (5/9/2008 9:54:51 AM)

If you shoot him, shoot to kill. That way he can't sue you...

35thAnni99GT -> RE: stolen (5/9/2008 10:06:19 AM)

Call Walmart first and ask the sporting goods department for the "untraceable bullets". When they ask say you can't tell them why you need them. [:D]

03_gt_woowee -> RE: stolen (5/9/2008 10:09:49 AM)

i have a motion camera for the woods for spotting deer and such.. get one of those not too expensive and they have good quality pictures

chriswells78 -> RE: stolen (5/9/2008 10:34:49 AM)

Don't leave **** in your car x eleventy-billion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

80% of cops are worthless when it comes to automotive break-ins.  They won't even come out and take a report here anymore, they make YOU go to the department to fill out your own report.  My boss just got her car broken into Wednseday in a downtown parking garage in broad daylight with security cameras in it.  They tried to steal her head unit but evidently it was bolted in too well for them.  They removed one of the four bolts and left.  Therefore, they busted out a $100 window and destroyed her radio besel for nothing.

It probably actually is. Have you seen all the stats on how much higher the crime rate in Houston has gotten since the hurricane?
