Damn why does stuff have to be so ****in complicated. Ok here is the story.

So its getting close to the time where my girlfriend is going to be moving away for college. We have been dating for about 9 months now and I've known her for my entire life because are parents where friends. I know everything about her and we work together perfectly. So she is moving to tampa and I'm staying here in Miami. We have talked about this before and come a a conclusion on what we where going to do about the situation and that we will brake up because she does not want the stress of having a boyfriend for her first semester of college and everything. And maybe later down the road get back together. ok...kool...whatever I'm fine with that.

But my friend the other day (who she knows as well and is kinda friends with as well) said he was talking with his girlfriend, who me and my girlfriend set up, not knowing his girlfriend was going to turn out to be such a bit(h. And they where discussing what me and my girlfriend where going to do about college. Well my friend said that he dose not see it going past graduation and his girlfriend said that she does not see it going past prom...what the ****...now all of a sudden they are experts in me and my girlfriends relationship and have no idea what we are doing.

So the other day I get kinda pissed at him and he tells me that she is just braking up with me so that she can go off and fu(k other guys in college (not true because she is not like that) And that she does not love me and all the ****in' crap. And that the first semester in college is crap and that she is just lying to you just so that she can lay you off easy. And he said he was just ****in' around with me, but yet when i said one thing about his girlfriend once he ****in' blow up on me. :eek:

So i was pissed and showed my girlfriend and she got pissed at him and was like how dare you say all this ****in crap you have no idea whats going on and everything. And so I have hung out with him like twice so that I can talk to him and also he got a new car (a mustang, there my damn weakness) so I wanted to see his car. And now my girlfriend is kinda mad at me, because she said that I souldn't talk to him, which I don't I ignore his calls and stuff I just wanted to see his car and play GTA 4 because I don't have it. I'm still pissed at my friend because he wont apologies to my girlfriend and for saying all that ****. And he wont apologies because he says it will make him look like he's giving in and ****.

**** I'm so pissed. I hate this.

"Braking" up before you go to college is the best thing you both can do. Seriously. It's just not worth trying to hang onto a relationship while you are going to be: 1) so far apart from each other; 2) around many, many attractive members of the opposite sex; 3) crying like a little bitch because you are away from her; 4) always suspicious of her sleeping around with other guys (which she probably will be, despite your saying she is "not like that"); 5) need I go on?

Break up with her now, and explain that you think it's best for both of you: you don't want to hold her back if she meets a great guy, right? You are doing her a favor (and yourself). You can still be "friends" after that - no reason not to.

FWIW, I was in your shoes before I went to college, and I did the right thing and broke up with my girlfriend. Nice to go in to a new situation with no strings attached. Besides... what are you holding on to? You're 18 - 19 years old? Get out there and date.
