S351R13 05-09-2008, 01:07 PM His should be quite a bit stronger. To keep up you'll need heads. militarymustang88gt 05-10-2008, 02:07 AM or a 125 shot. bighungrymatt 05-12-2008, 12:25 PM depends what your h/c/i setup is mmm rice 05-21-2008, 06:49 PM It depends on if the guy with the 331 chooses the right parts to make his combo work. Sema for you though. But you still wont beat me:D 86_Notch 05-22-2008, 12:04 AM <-- 351, flat tappet 292 cam, dished pistons, windsor jrs, 373s, auto, 3500 stall, drag radials 11.70s ( went 11.90s with ported stock heads ) Jasperstang308 05-22-2008, 04:44 AM http://www.mustangforums.com/m_4205082/tm.htm aru_next 05-25-2008, 08:19 PM ORIGINAL: mmm rice It depends on if the guy with the 331 chooses the right parts to make his combo work. Im going to beat you, you bastard! lol aru_next 05-27-2008, 06:50 PM what would be a good time with the 351, cam, intake and slicks? BlessedHellride 05-27-2008, 07:16 PM A 351 short block with the same time, money and supporting mods as the 331 will crush the infearior cid engine. No replacement for displacement! If you are that worried about being out run, snatch the top end of that 351 and pull the hydrualic cam out, replace with a solid lift flat tappet, change the springs and stuff on the heads. Set the valves cold about .018" or so depending on who ground the cam, throw your heads on there with some very mild port work and you'd be laughing at him for months to come. I know a guy that went from a hydraulic flat tappet to a solid flat tappet cam and picked up just over a second off his E.T. and almost 6 mph in the quarter. mmm rice 06-03-2008, 04:56 PM ummm....what happened to the other 10 posts?????????????????????????? aru_next 06-03-2008, 08:04 PM what up here????? |
