i just took out my convertible up/down switch on my 98 (the one in the center console), to replace it with a billet switch that i ordered online.  well, it came apart as i popped it out with a screwdriver, and though i put it together, i assume, the way it is supposed to go together, it no longer works.  it is really a simple assembly..just the plastic switch that moves the little box inside of it which makes contact with the relay switch, but now, i cant get it to work at all, even with the original switch back in place.

any ideas?  thanks in advance.
