Yea the government should take care of governmental duties as outlined in the Constitution. There is a big difference between coddling and governing. It's been said that if WWII happened today we might not win because most Americans have had everything given to them and don't really know hardship. I think one of the main reasons WWII was won was because those who were fighting understood hardship (ie the depression) and not everything was sent to them or recieved in a drive through.... Just my opinion.

How well our government is fullfilling its governmental duties could be debated all day. The point is....someone should be careful about what they wish...such as living in China. Most Americans really have no idea how good they have it just because they were born American...trust me, I've seen the other side and the grass isn't always greener. Despite this countries flaws it is still the best nation in this world....it's alarming that some Americans are so quick to forget what they have.

I live in an area where those whowill not work and keep having babies can enjoy a better life that the working poor. What is that? Certainly not capitalism.
