This is a coming of age tale of a boy who bought 2 cars...so come along boys and girls...........

Haha ok well I recently sold the Mamba to my trainer.  For those of you who haven't seen my car before here is what she looked like.

Most of you haven't seen these pics because I am of the lazy decent and don't like putting pics up, cause well it takes effort....jp.  And my new car is in the sig.  I will take pics of it someday and post them on here as well.

Well I love my new car!!  The difference between the vette and the supercharged mustang are worlds apart.  The mustang had around 400hp but it was heavier and didn't kick in until about 2500 rpm then it just flew.  The vette is smooth and has a crap load of torque in the low rpms.  I dont' even like takeing the TC off on the vette.  I did and punched it from a dig and was almost completely sideways going thru 1st 2nd and almost 3rd.  Scary stuff!!!  I loved the looks of my mustang!!  It was just mean lookin and one of a kind.  But the vette has always been a status symbol and it's incredibly sexy

The interior to the vette is awesome.  All leather and 2 tone black and cashmere.  The heads up display is pretty kick ass too.  So far I have taught the vette to say my name, when I turn the engine off the seats come up and forward and the stearing wheel comes out so I can get out easier, and when I get back in it remebers where I like to sit  I have also taught it to lock on its own and unlock only when I get close to it.....these things are so awesome I have never seen anything like it.  I could go on and on about how it has heated seats, and comes with DVD, Nav, how I can remove the top on a sunny cali day, and all that good stuff but it would take all day.

Point is I never thought I would ever own a vette, exspecially at the age of 23 but I thought well might as well have one when I am young and not a grandpa so I can really enjoy it!!!

First thing I am doing is getting exhaust.  I am thinking Borla stingers.  It will give it that big agressive v8 sound.  Cause the exhaust note now is basically not existant.  O and I am also finding out that stuff for the vette is 2 to 3x as expensive compared to the stang.  A cat back exhaust cost friggin 1500 bucks!!!!!

looks pretty new, I can't see the headlights on the front though. As far as the parts being more expensive, I was talking to a guy that has a Z28 Camaro and he said he couldn't stand Mustangs, because they were EVERYWHERE. On the other hand, he's pissed that he has to pay 2-3x more for the exact same parts. I guess that's just the advantage of having a common car.

07, I SELL DRUGS!!!  NOT REALLY!!!  I can afford it because I got a great deal on it and I worked hard all through highschool and college to get a great job.  There is not subsitute for hardwork, but I owe it alot to my parents for keeping me on the straight and narrow and giving me good values.  But on the underside of that, my job is really boring to me, and it's not something I have always wanted to do....but it pays the bills.  Someday I will find what I really want....but in the mean time, vrooom vrooom

Where I used to live, two of my neighbors had vetts. One guy would give me the keys and let me drive it whenever I wanted to. Sometimes I would drive it to work. They are a lot of fun. The only draw back I found was, no back seat and you had to crawl to get in.

That's awesome dude, congrats.  I can't wait till you get off your lazy ass and post some more pics of her.

So, given that your Pony was pretty done up, which car gets you more attention so far?

Well.......both cars get different kinds of attention.

The mustang got alot more attention by everyone in general.  It was different and it stood out.  I always had people coming up to me and telling me how much they liked and some didn't even know what kind of car it was.  So far the mustang got more attention from cops, younger guys, girls, and people with nicer more expensive cars.

the vette on the other hand gets alot more attention for the ladies, haha Dad's with kids in there minivans, and o did I say more ladies.  I got attention in the mustang by girls but different kinds of girls.  It's kinda hard to explain.

But one reason that I did get rid of the stang was, I was tired of people coming up to me and talking to me about it and stuff like that, it got me a lot of unwanted attention.  I mean I love attention but not from something I drive nesessarily, even tho my choice in cars might say otherwise

I hear you on the military stuff. I work for a contract company that makes gun components. We just got the exclusive contract for every mortar assembly. I work in Quality Control and I just turned 20 last week.

Sigh... Iwould buy a vette also, I'm an old chevy guy. Unfortunatly, I live in Detriot Michigan. For those of you who don't know, There is NO work in michigan AT ALL. I have 2 degrees (M.C.C. and W.S.U.) and I havn't been able to get a decent job in 2 years!! Any ways, Thats what led me to buy a used 2005 V6 Mustang. Ya know what, I love that Car!! Good luck with the vette!
